CORRECTING ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF MACHINERY WEAR IN CONNECTION WITH CHANGES IN FUEL ECONOMY AND LABOUR COSTS

The paper presents the adjusted methodology of economic assessment of machinery wear due to
changes in fuel economy, labour and other costs of machine utilization. The calculations made provide
an opportunity to establish the real residual value of machines at any time during the full life cycle and
prove the customers’ equal interest in the use of new and used equipment.

CHALLENGES OF FARM MARKETING ORGANIZATION IN AZERBAIJAN

The author states that in shifting to a market economy farm marketing starts playing an
important role as a commercial activity of commodity producers. Farm marketing is the
most effective way of farm management in developing sales and promotion strategies. Farm
enterprises intend to increase the competitiveness of their produce and raise their sales income
to strengthen their economic status and provide for necessary funding to compensate for the
expenses incurred. By an example of the Azerbaijan agrarian sector the author covers the
above-mentioned issues widely and shows possible ways of existing problems solving.

The author proves that knowing the processes of dust formation, allocation and distribution as
well as its properties and effects on the human body forms the basis of scientific and technical
developments in the field of dust removal from interior air space. The physical pollution model
is a combination of successive stages of dust interaction with other objects, each of which takes
this interaction at a particular stage.

RESEARCHING ICE-BLAST EROSION CLEANING OF MACHINE PARTS FROM TIGHTLY BOUND SOLID POLLUTION

The paper reveals physical nature of the contaminant erosion in surface ice-blast cleaning of repaired machine parts. The authors give the experimental results of cleaning sample contaminated models (with carbon deposits) and propose the optimal extreme values of iceblast cleaning parameters.

DETERMINING TOLERABLE WEAR OF REPLACED PARTS

The paper presents a new method of determining allowable depreciation. As the permissible wear of parts is accepted in the existing methodology as a constant value this increases dramatically the number of premature failures and gradual replacement of parts. The new methodology is based on a number of different allowable wear values of parts. The analysis has shown that this eliminates the drawbacks of the existing methodology.

THEORETICAL BACKGROUND OF EMULSION SEPARATION IN HYDROCYCLONES FOR DIESEL CLEANING CALCULATIONS

The paper deals with methods of determining the optimal construction and operational
parameters for cleaning diesel fuel from water emulsion in cylindrical hydrocyclones. The authors analyze hydrocyclone dynamics and calculate hydrocyclone paprametres for diesel fuel efficient cleaning.

DETERMINING ACTIVATION ENERGY OF HYDROCARBON FUEL QUALITY CHANGING IN ASSESSING ITS PERSISTENCE IN STORAGE FACILITIES

Basing on the similarity theory and the experiment planning theory and using the
regression analysis the authors have calculated the similarity criteria for determining test conditions to assess the persistence and constructed mathematical models of changes in the qualitative state of hydrocarbon fuel during its long-term storage in the storage facility.
